New Map for Release!

I would like to vote we start a new map since the final release of minecraft has come out. Mainly because the old map was really cluttered and didn't look too nice and it didn't really generate the survival multiplayer feel that it should. A few things I would like to see for the new map are;

Spawn worked on by the servers best builders
Nether
Ender
Ability to use lava
Smaller spawn area

uhh server is running vanilla, cuz plugins need to update

I do want a new map, but I spent weeks on making the hotel, skyhigh, mbt and am now making a huge mansion i really dont want to loose them.

when will the plugins be updated ?

The map we have going isn't that old. There's also still a lot of room to build in it (most of the area directly behind spawn is still fairly empty and unused, as well as a fair bit of uncharted territory to the right of the front gate past the church and crusader's castle). If the map was more filled up I'd be more willing to agree but as it is now we still have lots of room to build so there's no need to scrap this one yet.

All I am saying is, it looks very un-SMP. the spawn is ugly and cluttered and needs to be sorted

It looks fine to me i like that old map Tri did a good job making spawn i dont see why you dislike it

I say in the new map we make a date and time so everyone can participate if they can make it in killing the ender dragon..... then harvest its egg for no reason

I'm sure we'll have a plugin to spawn mobs when the server comes back, so that we can still fight the dragon.

That would be amazing, and after checking out the area, Tri's right there is plenty of room behind spawn. I think this area will be perfect for the servers aniversay party!
